Connect Grok
Grok's custom connector is separate from its built-in and catalog connectors.
SeamUI MCP server URL
https://www.seamui.com/api/mcpConnection requests are open on this deployment. This assistant's sign-in is still being tested.
Copy this deployment's URL. Never put a provider key, OAuth token, or secret in the URL or a chat.
Availability
Grok has not yet completed an end-to-end SeamUI test. Its custom connector may depend on your Grok plan or organization settings. A saved connector alone does not prove access is working.
Add the custom connector
- Copy the SeamUI server URL above.
- In Grok, open Connectors, add a custom MCP connector and enter the URL. If you use Grok Business or Enterprise, your team administrator may first need to make the connector available.
- If Grok offers SeamUI sign-in, complete it in your browser and manually choose one eligible Workspace in SeamUI. Do not paste a provider key or OAuth token into a request header.
- Check that Grok can read the Workspace you chose before using any action that changes content.
Use a file as a reference
Grok's connector documentation does not describe sending a chat file to another site. Give Grok a public https link to the file, which SeamUI downloads itself, or upload the file in the Dashboard first. Files already in SeamUI, such as generated assets, can be reused directly.
If authorization is unavailable
Stop at the visible error and contact SeamUI support. Grok's published connector guide does not specify every OAuth registration behavior, so do not switch to an API key or share authorization links to work around it.
